WAFA Winners: The World Alcohol-Free Awards 2024

The world’s largest alcohol-free drinks competition has announced its medal winners for 2024. Hundreds of non-alc products, from wines, spirits and beers to kombuchas, aperitifs and cocktails were put through their paces by panels of top tasters in London earlier last month, and the results are now out.

As more and more people cut down or cut out their drinking, there has been an explosion of new alcohol-free options, but it can be difficult to find the best, and that’s where the World Alcohol-Free Awards are here to help. As the largest AF competition in the world, these results make it easy to find the ideal drink without alcohol, whatever you’re looking for.

The World Alcohol-Free Awards focuses on products with alcohol levels of 0.5% ABV or below, and is truly international, with drinks entered from 21 countries across the world.

The 30 judges - all experts in alcohol-free - came from Europe, the UK and North America, and after multiple rounds of judging, awarded a total of 58 Golds, 87 Silvers, and 110 Bronze medals.

Explore the winners at worldafawards.com where you can filter by medal, drink style and ABV to find the best in class of alcohol-free drinks.

Look out for the World Alcohol-Free Awards winner stickers on bottles, retail shelves and websites from May onwards to help you choose the top rated alcohol-free drinks of 2024, so you can skip alcohol without compromising on quality.
